Spark Model, you have to love a model car company whose motto is, "We are car freaks and we love models. Our aim is to bring you the most accurate models possible in their price bracket."
Spark Model is the first model company to specialize in making model cars in resin rather than diecast metal. In the early days, collectors were rather skeptical of resin, and some refused to put Spark Models in their collections. The main advantage of resin is that it also allows for a faster time to bring a model to the market at a lower initial investment. It also allows for smaller runs to be made. This has enabled Spark to create more models of obscure real cars, and fill several small gaps in the market. Today, Spark Model is offering a more extensive range of models, featuring subjects from the modern and classic worlds of Formula One, endurance racing, rallying and road cars, in both 1:18 and 1:43 scale. The brand is particularly well known for its love of Le Mans, and over the years Spark has released many hundreds of different models of cars that have raced at the 24 Hours.
