Ford GT40 MkII made their breakthrough at the 1966 Daytona 24 Hour winning the first three seeds and claiming their rightful place in the record books. The MkII, driven by Donohue and Hansgen, was one of the participants during the first-ever 24 hour race at Daytona.
The Scalextric slot car was made exclusively for distribution in the United States. Some of the features include working head and tail lights, easy change pick ups, and magnatraction.
This car is can be converted to run on the Scalextric Digital system using the C7006 Digital Retro-fit(Saloon) kit. Installation of the retro-fit chip does require some soldering.
