In 1967 Chaparral introduced the 2F, a high winged coupe for World Championship Endurance Racing. The car featured a 7 litre Chevrolet engine. At the 1967 Nurburgring 1000km the number 4 car of Phil Hill and Mike Spence qualified on pole position and set the fastest lap of the race. Gearbox problems forced the car to retire early. Victory finally came for the car later that year, in the BOAC 500 at Brands Hatch. The Scalextric Model This is the No. 4 car that raced at the Nurburgring.
