Marsh Models LE35 McLaren M8B #15 "Jack Brabham" practice Can-Am Michigan 1969, 1/43rd scale handbuilt resin model car. This is a Limited Edition model of only 25 builts.
Jack Brabham was contracted to Ford for some Can-Am races in 1969 and at the new Michigan circuit arrived to find a G7A that was far from his liking. He attempted to qualify the car and was ten seconds off the pace, so had a word with his former teammate Bruce McLaren and borrowed the spare Chevy-powered M8B to improve his grid position! There are a few photos of ‘Black Jack’ on board the orange machine and this typically well finished model from Marsh matches these well.
